instant messanger ads

Has anyone been getting audio ads recently? i'm pretty sure they are coming from aim, cause it's always open when i hear the ads and i don't think it is coming from anything else. anyway, i use deadaim but is there any other way to stop these?

YES, and i was like..where the heck are those sounds coming from!? i realized it was IM, but there's nothing you can do about it if you have deadAIM, because you can't right click the ad and mute it because deadAIM blocks the VIEWING of the ad (it's still there).

yeah, i get it, but i use aimutation instead of deadaim. deadaim sucks too much.

i thought it was spyware at first, but ad-aware couldn't find anything. i heard the ad one time and closed AIM, and found out thats what it was.

DeadAIM sucks. I like AIM+ but they kind of stopped updating it. This kid on my szchool did a project and he made an AIM client.. its kinda cool.. I think (I havent tried it out yet) its called Terraim.. www.terraim.tk

yeah... good thing my computers a pos and i dont have sound anymore AGAIN after paying $50 to get the damn thing fixed. This is the 5th time its broken. HPs are crap

look at the ad at the top of your BL list, thats where it comes from, dont hit mute either, just brings up pop ups

I havn't ever paid someone to fix a computer
I had an HP for 5 years and it was still working when I disconnected it. But I went to turn it about 6 months later and got nothing . It must have been hurt I traded it in for a dell.

HP computers are some of the best out there Sorry you had a bad experience, but overall, you can't beat them for reliability.

this really is incredibly annoying, i use dead aim, and i can't stand those freakin ads.
