My favorit guitarist is Page, he was so freaken cool, and he had awsome solo's. I think he is the best, cuz he was a great all around guitar player, who was basicly the driving force of zeplin.

But Hendrix has to be their, cuz he was one of the best too.

I'm gonna have to agree with you other that said Jimmy Page as well as Joe Satriani.

I'm not sure of any of their names but my friend downloaded a bunch of these different classical guitarists and that actually some of the craziest/fastest stuff i've heard. One song that he played me was basically a 5 minute guitar solo that was all harmonics and was wicked fast.

I would definately have to agree Jimmy is way up there. Although another personal favorite of mine is Tom Morello who used to be the guitarist of Rage Against The Machine and now plays for Audio Slave. I think he is pretty talented.
