Hey Tanner, Led Zepplin is a band not a person and Jimmy Paige was mentioned many times.

I'd say Stevie Ray, Satriani, or Hendrix. Claptons pretty good too.

Tom Morrello is underrated as well.

Henrix definatly should take the cake, cuz as it was said, he was VERY ground breaking. It's one thing to play a song well, it's a whole other thing to write a good song. And Hendrix's stuff was so differnt from what else was out their. It was also his stage presence. He would do crazy stuff on stage,(like lighting his guitar on fire) and his laid back style of playing (also called slopy/dirty) was so well tuned that he put on an amazing show.

He deffinatly is the best overall guitarist.

I guess Id just nudge him past Jimmy from Led Zeppelin. While Hendrix was so different from anyone else so was Paige(now is that spelled Paige or Page?)Playing a guitar with a violin thingy and Stairway to Heaven isnt an easy song.

Its close but Jimi is best.

Page was a demi god, he was an amazing guitarist and he knew it. The playing with the violin bow is realy cool. I love it.

Yeah he did that in a couple songs. I wanted to see if it was hard, but violin bows are like 80$.

Slash is actually an awesome guitarist, I'll give you that. He has the talent to play just about any song out there, and make it sound good. Hes def. underrated.

But he doesn't compete with Stevie Ray and Clapton.
