My grandpa was in an accident today.

My grandpa was bringing me back from an appointment today when he realized my dad's van was blocking his spot, so when I went in to get the keys, I hear this loud "CRACK" and a horn. I run back outside to see my grandpa's car in a tree. Apparently he wanted to turn the car around (was currently in a neighbour's driveway) and when he pressed the brakes, they didnt work. Scared the hell out of me, I saw my grandpa in a car accident. He wasn't moving, I thought he was dead, he wasn't (THANK GOD), but he was sitting there waiting for someone to come, cause the door was jammed. The car's front end is pretty smashed but the rest is fine.

The good news is my grandpa is PERFECTLY fine, just a little in shock (who wouldn't be?) and the insurance covers everything.

edit: Sorry no pics of the car, my dad didn't want to remember this. I can probably take pics of the tread marks, leaked antifreeze (if it's still there) and broken lamp post if I get time tomorrow.

my friends and i ran a golf cart onto a tree at about 15 mph and i just bounced off the back and landed about 15 ft back. it was funny cause then later we almost flipped it and we wrecked the tires and made the engine smoke so we put it up for the day and now his gramps wont let us go all crazy on it anymore. but thats what 4 wheelers are for right?!
