Need help with Xmas pressent for parents

hey all, i suck with getting people presents. and my parents are wicked cool. i screwed up. alot. this year ( 122Mph 650$ speeding ticket+ 5 months license suspension+ 8 hour 90$ class + 300$ reinstatement fee + lawyers. Hitting a curb with my car, after i got my licences back. and DESTROYING a tire and axel.350 for replacement axel + 50 for tire and some mechanics fees. and ALOT of my dads time. earlyer that day i droped a sliding glass door into the back yard, price yet unknown, but looking to be round 200)although iv paid for almost all of it ( except the lawyer)

they never got mad, my dad just counts it up to "being a kid, making mistakes and learning from them." its not like they dont care about me, cause they do. im not anything resembling an A student. more like C- C+. i snapped on my mom one day due to a misunderstanding almost causing me to be late for SAT's. stayed out tll 130 in the mornin at the berlin turnpike ( a some what local race spot) and my parents didnt even know i was there. almost got arrested for tresspassing. and got into arguments with my mom on a weekly basis.

so i want to get them a great present, im not anything resembling rich, but money is no object when it comes to this. out of everything iv had to pay for. iv learned money isnt even worth the paper its printed on in comparison. and no matter what i may do. my family is more important.

so i need ideas. good ones. please, no *POOF* ideas.

Sounds like someone shouldn't be driving! lol

but for the present. Try writing to them. Nothing special just a little thanks and a nice card. Make the writing really come from your heart. Even if your a bad writer, it doesn't matter, just make it truly special to your parents.
Tha best presents are the ones that come from the heart

Well if I was your parent, I would wish for Santa to bring me a weekend away from YOU! Get them a weekend suite at the closest Casino near you. I am sure they would have a ball.
Your intentions are very admirable and keep up the good work. And TRY to do the RIGHT thing...so your parents can be PROUD of their son. That would be the best gift of all...a son who grew up and stopped messing up! :o

If you do a search online there's alot of unique gifts that can be personalized. Those are always nice. Or a day at the spa is a nice way to show your appreciation, giving them the "king and queen" treatment with massages etc. Writing something is also a good idea, then have it written in calligraphy and framed. I'm sure you'll find the perfect gift!

AND don't get in trouble or throw any parties while they're gone! imagine how happy they'll be when they get back.

i was thinkg about the casino thing. but i mean my parents dont really gamble. my dad doesnt like any sports teams or anything, so its not like i can get him tickets to his favorite team. he doesnt golf. i thought about a spa too, but i wanna get them something they can do together. cause my dad probibly wouldnt do that. i was think about getting them tickets to like a theater show and then dinner, but i dont really know if theyd like that. so far the casinos the best idea.

depends what they're in to. Brookstone has some great stuff, cool little gadgets and things, but now that i think of it, who really needs an electronic wine bottle opener?

actually, have you thought about the greatest gift of all? TAKE THEM PAINTBALLING! i'm sure they'll love being able to cap you a few times for that whole speeding ticket drivers liscence thing....

there is no greater gift to receive than payback!

If you could stay out of trouble for the year, and not get into misunderstanding of large proprotions that would mean alot.

I would say get them a weekend away at a nice quaint bed and breakfest, maybe by a ski hill or something.

And promies not to throw any parties
