    Best Bassist of all time?

    Who do you think it is?

    Victor Wooten is definately number one, no question about it. Ryknow from Mudvayne is just under him short followed by Les Claypool and Flea from RHCP. The Rage/Audioslave guy is pretty good also.

      YES! Victo Wooten is most def. God in bass player form. he is amazing, along with les....and what do you know? flea!.....but victor is by far the best i have ever heard.

                                                      les is WAY up there, but rob derhak ain't too shabby either. it all depends on how you define it. if you've ever seen jazz mandolin project play, you'll know what i mean, that kid (whom ever he is) can play!!!! can he play like les? no, but could les play like him? probably not.

                                                      there's some amazing musicians out there, you just gotta find them. the unfortunate part is that the best, usually arn't the most popular.
