    computer problem

I hope someone can help me with this annoying problem. I have xp and IE. I lost my normal search area on IE you know where the little dog is. Now I have a list of search links there. This happened after I visited a site from a link on AO. Not blaming anyone on AO just wondering if this has happened to anyone else and how do I get rid of it? ALso when I first open IE a search thing pops up and blocks my whole screen. It happens everytime I open it.

Ok I don't know what you are talking about regards the dog as my dog or cat etc only appear in my office section not Internet Explorer but anyhow a rollback is no biggie very simple and actually works with XP...I recently had to roll back a pc to sept all went perfect...knowing how to do a rollback is the difficult one as you have to change views within the file system..assuming you have a cross between windows and xp views if you have standard xp file viewing it is just a couple of clicks away. Just had a look.... 5 clicks if you have classic view and 4 clicks if you have category view switched on and then you are in system restore (rollback)
