Car Stereos...?

hey all i have a cousin who owns a car stereo shop and im lookin to get a new stereo for my car. If anyone is educated in this genre then any help would be appreciated... the brands i have to choose from are like pioneer, alpine and a few others.

my cousin lives in california and is on vacation for the holidays. im sposed to leave my order with the store and theyll ship it out to me in time for xmas... whys it matter anyways help if u can otherwise stfu

I have one of the newest Pioneers, great sound and kool graphics. Alpines are also good.

I have...
-Kenwood Excelon head unit
-Kenwood 4x6 speakers in dash
-Kenwood 6.5 speakers in doors
-Kenwood 6x9 in back seating area
-RE XXX 18inch subs X2
-custom box
-powered with a MMats D300HC which gives the subs around 2,000watts RMS
-and a ton of other goodies

But i need a new setup, i need to loose the Kenwood stuff.
I recomend you go with Kenwood (you don't want to invest too much too fast), it hads served me well and i think it is a quality product.
If you want something realy hard core go with the Blaupunkt Funline Casablanca head unit.

I just bought a cheap X-Plode tape deck, and a nice 11cd changer. Noones going to break into my car to steal a cheap tape deck with no face, and they won't see the changer, thats the way to do it

alpines sound great. i have in my car:
Some Panasonic Deck (pretty good, but i am looking into a alpine deck)
Alpine Type-R 6.5- Doors
Alpine Type-R 6x9- Rear
10" Audiobahn Flame-Q Subs
Some type of box
2 JBL BP-300.1 Mono Amps for the subs.

Here is what i would suggest to you. Go somewhere that has car audio stuff, and listen to stuff. Decide what sounds good to you. Ask questions too.

hmm k. iv talked to some people and shopped around and i think im gonna go with pioneer speakers and pioneer or alpine deck.. Then an Alpine type r or type s sub.
