    I love baklava

    I love baklava.

Is it difficult to make? Is the phyllo stuff expensive?

I dont think it is hard to make. The phyllo dough isn't expensive. The only thing I remember, is that it took a really long time to butter each layer of dough. It's not the healthiest stuff in the world, but that stuff rules!

It's a pain in the neck to make (mostly buttering those thin sheets which rip on you) but oh so good to eat.

I moved so I'm not close to Santanas anymore. Their gyros suck, but the baklava is good.

The Steak Knife on 4th st in Dinkytown has good baklava.

Now I'm over on 13th ave and Hennepin right next to 35W. Just a few blocks away is Joe's Market and they have Lebanese baklava which is good stuff too.

            I love baklava.

If I could afford it, I would eat a whole pan.

Darn stuff is like $1.75 for a small piece.
