    where to go, get into more tourneys

    let me explain the issue:
    right now i am 14 years old. me and my friends usually play in the back by my house. we have a speedball/woodsball field set up, but it's not true speedball. we play bacl there twicea week to a month at a time. wwhen we play as long as i'm not off bad me and my oen friend usuallu do the bets and kick ebvery body else's arse. but then i enetered a tourney 2 months back with soem older friends and i did terrible at the tourny.
    i dunno whato to do. me n my friends try and go to fields when we have the cahs, but that is not often.
    i dunon what to do i want to enter more tourny's at 17(car time) but i have to practise so i can be half descent. right now i am gonna try and play a t leats one game everyday the whole game shooting lefty.
    we wouldn't have a spot, manpower to move our field and bunkers somwhere open, but it is alot like speedball(our field)
    what do i do for now??
    I knew not what I did but am now edumacated

    Almost everybody does poorly at their first tourney, theres just too much to adjust to. If you want to do better at your next tourney follow my recipe:
    -play lots, practice snap shooting and moving
    -play with your team, you need to understand how to work together
    -play more tourneys, there's no substitute for experience
    -play aggresive

      Communication and snap shooting should be your #1 goals. Get used to talking it up on the field and keeping everyone aware of whats going on, and get used to getting your shots off quickly and accurately, and the rest will come.

      Body awareness is kinda a given, but some people suck at it. Always know where your arms, legs, head, pack, etc, are. That way you know if they are safe or not.

        alright thanks guys, ever since ym first tourney i've been the loudest on the field whenever we play.
        i am gonna work on shotting lefty, snapping, i usually am aware if my team has numbers or if the side i am goign up is gone or i sense opptunity
        i am gonna keep working on it, hopfully eventually join a good team, cuz players aroudn me, we really dont have many oppenents right now in town and a full good playing squad
        I knew not what I did but am now edumacated

          you need to play at a 'real' field a ton. Like practice once a week at very minimum. just keep playing. play agains teams better than you.
