This is absolutley stupid. I guess the authorities in Boston should charge Zimmer for attacking Pedro too.

That groundskeeper should not have been in the bullpen to begin with. Another black eye for baseball. And they wonder why their sport is fading fast!

It was Nelson that attacked the groundskeeper in the first place. Do you know why he attacked the groundskeeper? Because the groundskeeper was waving a towel in support of the Red Sox! Then, after the fight started, Garcias had the gonads to jump the outfield wall and start fighting too! Granted, the groundskeeper probably shouldn't have been waving anything because the game was so heated up at that point anyway but Nelson didn't have to attack the groundskeeper! All he had to do was ask someone from security to remove the groundskeeper and nothing would have happened.

And as for the Pedro-Zimmer incident, all I have to say is Zimmer shouldn't be on a field anymore anyway.

I think just about everyone here is wrong, doubly so for Garcia. Instead of joining in the fracas, he should have tried to break it up.

Regardless of whether Williams or Clemens started it, Garcia should have known better.

Um actually no. The groundskeeper repeatedly annoyed Nelson and when he and other pitchers asked the groundskeeper to stop he started yelling even louder.

That ignited it and Garcia just came in to get a piece of the groundskeeper.
