My new sig

I think it looks nice but the background looks a little busy, it hides your name.

Looks good, but a couple of technicalities...

Its a second pic in your sig (you should drop the other one), and its 57kb. (it should be 20kb max)

If you use photoshop, an easy way to size it down is as follows:

Click: File > Save for web

This brings up a dialouge box with a preview of your finished file and some options regarding file formats.
Choose the "Gif" format, then to the right, you'll notice a small arrow in a circle. Click that, then "Optimize to file size". Type 20kb, choose to keep the current file type and hit ok, then save. This optimizes the color pallette and gets rid of all the colors that you didnt use, making the file smaller.

Also, (just a tip) make the letters a little lighter. (higher contrast)

I agree, you should make your name an other color, or make it chrome or something. Anything that would stand out more would be better. I Don't think you should emboss the entire sig (background), just give it a good pixel border or something.

Edit: The gloss contour looks wierd on the letters.

I dont see how yall think its so hard to read,even my lil bro knows what it says and ive got a f'd monitor too.But the only reason that the text is so light is because i lowered the opacity.

Yeah, My computer stopped working, I moved across state, etc. (right now, I'm using a borrowed laptop w/ 56k ) I ordered a Dell about 2 weeks ago, and it should be in by mid Jan... Havent had much time to do any PS work and ever since the sig thread was deleted so long ago, my sigs haven't been floating around here.
