    XP Problems

It keeps freezing on me. Usually after being frozen for 2-5 minutes it will go back to normal. Maybe 1/10 times, I will wait 10 minutes then just turn it off and back on. It only started doing this two or three days ago. Right before this started happening, I installed CPU-Z, iTunes, and Micatoge X-Player. I also turned off a bunch of stuff that loads when you turn it on: Scanner utility, itunes helper, messenger, wordperfect, quicktime, realplayer, and the bundled vaio crap that came with the computer ("Vaio action setup" and "support.com" something or other). I don't see how anything I have done would cause this, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
