okay... i'm very stupid when it comes to computers. So this is my problem, im pretty sure i have a virus. I have earthlink, and what not. My computer use to be very fast. I do not look at porno, but suddenly i have six porno shortcut thingys on my comp. After this, whenever i click on the earthlink shortcut i get some offer for a antivirus thing (im pretty sure i have a virus), and it doesn't come to my normal earthlink homepage. And then i can never search the web for anything. Finally i got it to work, but im not so sure its stable. Please someone tell me i don't have to buy some antivirus thing, because i really dont want to do that.

something like that happened to me also. It was some kind of spyware. i ran Ad-aware 6.0 and it got rid of the program. -

I literaly took it out back and shot it (with my weak spyder)
But my brother came over and fixed it as an early christmass prezzie
