I hate FOX

Has anyone else seen the irobotnow.com website showing off that sweet robot thing that is supposedly shipping in July? I was looking at the website, and looking at the privacy policy for it, and its a stupid movie made by FOX. Man that is a shady front for this bogus movie.

when i first saw the thing on TV, i thought thats pretty cool. Then i realized that it was a preview for a movie. Yeah they leave the realiazing part up to the people. Plus the robot in the comercial looked reall animated. I think it is a pretty cool way to advertise a movie.

It's called marketing. Reminds me of that one website called ourfirsttime.com. For those who haven't heard, it was suppose to be a live internet broadcast of a teen couple(legal age) who were to lose their virginity to each other. Turns out that it was hoax. The site released a "script" and it has them deciding to wait since they love each other to much to do it. I did look at the site and saw pictures of the couple. The guy looked to modelish and the girl looked like a stripper.

Yes, Alex Proyas is making a movie based on the book.

It's not the first time someone has done this. The new Resident Evil movie trailer was a fake ad too.

Irobot is such a great book. I hope the movie doesn't suck.

"3 laws safe"

Does nobody read anymore? Asimov was one of the greatest science fiction writers ever. I saw the title and was thrilled. If I sat here long enough I could probably recite the 3 laws from memory.

1. A robot may not do anything to harm a human
2. A robot must help any human as long as it doesn't violate rule 1
3. A robot must preserve itself as long as it doesn't violate rule 1 or 2

Something of that nature.

2) Robots must obey the orders of people, except where it conflicts with Rule #1
3) Robots must preserve themselves, except where it conflicts with Rule #2.

I also think that the movie would be cooler than the robot actually existing(some of you thought that that thing would actuall ship if it did it would be like an action figure)
