Y'all Dont Have it So Bad

At least y'all are all home with your friends, family, and loved ones. My dad isn't. He's overseas in Qatar, about to go over to Afghanistan.

Anyways, here's a pic of my dad and the christmas tree his barracks has(the only from what I hear). Ive got an ornament on it to, prob cant see it, but its a little jet.

well, to be mean or anything, but this is the first time in 3 years that I've had ANYONE in my family here for christmas... and it was still just me and the sis.

I gotta know, how did your dad get an evergreen tree in Qatar? Isn't it mostly desert?

I talked to him today, he said thats the biggest in camp. He said there were some smaller 8" trees, but thats the biggest. He said he thought it was brought in from Australia one way or another(there are evergreen in Australia?? )

And Im sorry to hear about that Heat.

lol, we decorated an old 5 ton, had fun with that, although we didnt really have much to decorate it with.

My dad is a sailor...he got home for X-mas then went back to his boat.
