I wanted to rent it a couple days ago but it was rented out.

I hear it is about the same as the previous Ridge Racers...both graphically and gameplay-wise.

I would stay away.

EGM said it was a departure from previous Ridge Racers - more sim, less arcadey. Because of that, I'm willing to wait for GT4. I've loved the RR series, but I looked to it for powersliding goodness. Now that there's less of it, I don't have a reason to get it.
