Highly doubtful it is actually 120w rms but then Sony do some very interesting calculations with their car head units where all the other makers give a power rating of say 4x25rms and then multiply it to give a pmpo of 4x50watts Sony have the same ratings but their maths working somehow come out at 4x25rms but equals 4x80watts pmpo...the heat sinks would have to be huge to honestly be 120 rms and given the case size it would need fans for cooling...also is it rated for 4 ohms as those extra speakers you seem to have hooked up are probably 8 ohms but more likely 6 ohms like most mini systems so add an extra set on will take you to 3 ohms approx and even a 4 ohm stable amplifier will struggle as in reality you will find you have a 2.5 ohm load which will equal a very hot amp...so a 2ohm amp would be required and as yet they are not available for the home market. Other than that it looks nice....honest

Hahaha, true. The speakers are rated at 6 ohms for the sony and 8 ohm for the magnavox. Yeah, I figured I was killing the amp since my old set had a better amp since it was actually capable for supporting two sets and that even had trouble. This one isn't heating up as much though so I'm not as worried... yet.

If I were to unplug one set, I would unplug those magnavox speakers, but they do a nice touch even when unplugged. lol
