It's not staged, it is very real. It's also quite old. I work in radio so I've heard this a few times. I used to have an mp3 of the whole bit... I think the guy ends up telling the jocks to f--- off and hangs up.
Digits, the reason no number was given was because the bit was recorded off-air during a music set, edited and then aired from tape. Radio stations don't give out people's numbers over the air.

hahahaha thats so funny! i laughed hard when i heared this one! man that would suck really bad, i think id be pretty pissed off too. but i would never do such a thing *shifty eyes* it did sound real to me, but i dunno, you should never underestimate the power of really stupid and bored people in large numbers.
