    Question for the electronic gurus

    If I wanted to use my Lap Top as a monitor for my Playstation 2, what kind of connector would i need? would an RCA-S Video work? what about an RCA-VGA adapter?

    If the RCA-VGA works, where would i go about getting that adapter?

    If the RCA-S Video works, is there some special setting i have to go to?

    any help is great

          mabey if your lap top is high tech u can get like a av adapter?? like the rf mogerlator thing at radio shack. for the tv. i am not sure but go to radio shack. "you have questions we have answers"!!!!!

                  Your laptop has to have video IN. Most dont have this so you are proboly SOL. Otherwise you will proly just need the standard RCA plugs and an Headset jeck adapter for the audio. All depends on the specific config of the laptop.

                  So far as just running it to a standard monitor they do make a VGA adapter specificaly for PS2 I wouldent know anything about that though.... I would NEVER sneak my PS2 into work

                      Hmmm....I guess it won't work then... My Lap top is a Compaq X1000 by the way...if that helps.
