Well its EXTREMELY dry here so what do we do? we go out and buy fireworks. So we're coming back after buying fireworks and pass a grassfire...but did that stop us? no! so it gets dark and we decided to pop them. We're on a semi busy road. about 1 car passes every 2 minutes or so and we get the bright idea to light an artillery shell in the car and throw it out the window where extremly dry and dead grass is on the side. my friend lights it, throws and out and starts screaming GO!!!! and i start screaming STOP!!!!!! (ive lit artillery shells in the street before) and so my friend driving stop for a minute. Then we start to see some little flames in the grass and im start screaming turn around fire fire!!!!!! my other friends screaming just leave! well the person driving turns around and sees the fire and gets the bright idea to run over it! (im thinking oh *insert word here* the cars gonna blow up! well it doesnt (obviously) and he stops on the side of the road. (by now theres a little area about 6"x6" and big one about 3'X 3' i run and get out the small one and then me and my friend are both run in place all over the big one. Finally we get it pretty much out and finish it off with a can of mountain dew. If that grass wasnt mowed we would have been in big BIG trouble. After that we decided to go home and play counterstrike and topspin tennis on xbox live the rest of the night.

No, cars don't "blow up". The gas tank may rupture from too much heat, which THEN releases a gasoline induced fireball. But blow up, nah. Hollywood has a lot of people fooled with that.
As for tossing a lit object from a moving vehicle into a KNOWN fire hazard area....DORK! As for lighting a large explosive inside a moving vehile....DORK! As for your buddies deciding to run away....DORKS!
At LEAST the driver had a little bit of honesty, and turned around. I presume you will NOT attempt anything as stupid as this again.
