the new vette is well....a let down for me. I have a vette so I am one of the vette nuts. After seeing a c5 raped into the new c6 I am disapponited to say the least. There was suppose to be a redesign of the vette, not a makeover. It has the exact same lines but they are hardened now, not smooth like last years. They look good to me, but it is not what the next vette was suppose to be.

I duno, I was kinda disappointed by the new Mustang. the concept photos look amazing, the production photos look, i dunno, plan? I want real hood and side scoops, not fake ones.
I still love the Mustang, its the first car I'm buying when i get out of college

If by scoops you mean the little slits in the side and hood of the car (i'm car illiterate) then i agree. I thought the mustang g something, i think, looked cool with those but when i noticed they were fake i couldn't get over how stupid that was. Little rubber plugs in holes on your car.

Yea, but I still do love the new Mustang, a HUGE improvement over the mustang now.
Here are some really good pics

We've got a vette like this one (not as nice of course but same style). That is the wife's summer cruising car. I get an automag and she gets the vette!!!! Sheesh!!!Originally posted by FalconGuy016

Actually I'm not a car guy. I drive a Taurus. I can afford much better, but I just can't see putting the money into something that depreciates so darn much. A may take advantage of Bush's tax break next year and buy an SUV (to depreciate all in one year on the taxes). There I said it!!! Happy 1stdeadeye? I may take advantage of Bush's tax break, as stupid as it is.....
All I want is to get from A to B. I must admit, however, that it can be fun at times. We were driving to the coast and a Miata wanted to pass me uphill. Being evil I just kept speeding up so that he couldn't pass (he was in the pass lane). There wasn't really any competition. The vette was barely working. Then my wife woke up from her nap, saw what I was doing and started screaming at me to let him pass!!!!
And yes BTW it is a midlife crisis mobile. Of course everyone driving it is in their 30s and 40s. You typically CAN'T AFFORD to have a play vehicle in you teenage and 20s. We're not depressed about buying the vette but losing our hair and having to lug around a spare tire (on ourselves)
