You can view my other pictures there too. All pictures are taken by me. Photographing cars moving at 100mph+ can be tough.

ever think of starting a dark room?

I really don't do a whole lot of photography although my dad is a photography major. I'd like to start, I have all the equipment. I have access to a couple of my dad's Nikons. My dads Fuji s7000, moms Sony 707. I am more into the whole digital camera because I also enjoy photoshopping. Most of my pictures have been slightly digitally altered. Ussually it is jsut something like color adjustment, or lightening/darkening a subject. Sometimes it can be sometihng as dramatic as removing entire objects from a photograph.

I have a picture at that same driving event where I had a picture of a Ferrari but there was a concrete wall that covered half the front bumper. I was able to edit it out and nearly recreate the whole bumper. Ill try to dig up the before and after.

Bah, it is saved on another computer so I'll post it later. The picture of the RX-7 has been digitally altered. I added that blur to create the feeling of motion. I did a motionblur around the car and included about 1-2 pixels of the car to make it look real. I also did a radial blur on the wheels to create a spinning effect.

On nearly all of my pictures I also do the unsharp mask filter. You'd be suprised how blurry some pictures can be, although sometimes a little blurriness is nice when the picture is less than perfect. I really like my green ferrari picture though.

I don't have the money for photography right now. I have a big upcoming car project that is going to suck me dry except for gas and insurance money.

I'd love to have my ownblack room equipment but I also don't play paintball anymore.

the picture would have looked better if it wasn't blurry, but with that little amount of light it wasn't going to happen... ::sigh::
