Maybe he won't have as pronounced as an effect. Remember, Perot screwed Bush I when Clinton ran against him, getting almost 20% of the vote. But the next time he ran he got practically nothing, and that was with a very weak Republican candidate.

Nader may not be the big deal that people think he's going to be.

You are totally correct here. Everyone bashes on Bush, but the truth is that Perot was the real thing that got him screwed. No Perot and it would have been a totally different election. Clinton may have never been elected....

Nader didn't steal Gore's votes. Gore never earned them. The problem with a two party system becomes obvious when the two parties become too similar to distinguish between them in any meaningful way. A third party can be nothing but a good thing.

It's interesting watching those "elections" you hold down there. Up here in Canadialand, we didn't even elect our current Prime Minister (kind of like you guys and Bush) - The Liberal party changed heads so we get another "business friendly" crook sucking us dry until the next election.

Nice rant, Albinonewt. But do you have any connection to USC? They just might have been conservative 15-20 years ago. A lot of schools were, around the end of the eighties. In both the USA and Canada, where conservative regimes had been very successful throughout the decade.

Bush was Elected, not selected. I know how upsetting this bit of reality is for the liberal types out there, but that's the fact.
