some apartments come furnished with furniture. most do not. you need a bean bag or an inflatable chair. they are really cheap seating and are a must for a first apt.
Entertainment center is nice but tv/movies are a huge timesuck; money too. Think about it this way anything you have in your house you will probably need in the apt too.
