First one is my task bar freezes sometimes. Mostly this happens when we try to share the internet. Only way to fix it is to do a system restore. The spyware is all cleaned out and their arnt any viruses (as far as i can tell). I had thought about replacing the XP system files. Good idea or no?
Number two. We cannot for the life of us get our two computers to share the internet. We had dsl for a while and the tech there had the internet shared for a grand total of 2 days. For some odd reason it went down and when the tech guy came to fix it, he never could figure out what went wrong. Now we have cable. We also added a router. The network now seems to be up between the two but the internet still doesnt work. The second computer doesnt even seem to recognize that the cable modem is there. Any suggestions?
