Why not? USC lost to a terrible Cal team, Oklahoma lost to a pretty good Kansas State team, why shouldn't OU be there? One team was going to get the shaft regardless, it just happened to be USC.

OU didnt even win their conference, how in the world do they deserve to be in the national championship. So all this means is that college football is one step closer to a turni system.

LOL, college football will never have a playoff. The system worked, until Michigan, USC beat nothing but cake teams. They didn't deserve to go to the big game.

A couple people with common sense. Thank you... I feel there were 3 teams that were superior throughout the course of the season: OU, LSU, and USC. OU has strumbled twice at the end and most people I know are not denying this. To say they do not belong on the same field as any team is irrational. White played a poor game as did the line until the fourth quarter (why did you stop running Bob, why?). However I still kinda believe his hand was jacked from KSU. Congrats to USC and LSU on their championships and lets start preparing for next season. My vote goes the rankings in the top 3 start the same in the fall as they ended today.

Wolf: Show me one rule in the NCAA saying you must win your conference... Tell me how many conferences play an extra championship game... Gotta balance all of the facts and make an educated decision...

P.s. Anyone noticed OU's last couple classes kinda scary.
