It's official: I got PCS orders to Turkey...

I finally got PCS (Permanent Change of Station) orders to Turkey. I'm so fired up about this one! I've been on this base just shy of four years.
I can't wait.
I fully paln on abusing the travel to Europe.
The down side is that I don't leave for a few months, but... well... YAY!!!!!

Hey Breg...

Are they for Incirlik? I waw there back in '75-76 for 15 months in the Missile Shop down at the Bomb Dump. I couldn't begin to imagine the changes that might have taken place since then. It was a close community when I was there. Had an American high school and everybody was into the sports scene.

Yes it's for Incirlik. I've said before that I am really exicted.
The only thing is that I've little idea what the base is like. I guess I'll have to think of it as the Next Grand Adventure.
I've been marooned for just under four years (infact it will be four years next month) at the place sanity forgot: Kirtland. I guess that sometime in the 80's or 90's they merged Kirtland, Sandia, and Monzano bases into one base and kept Kirtland as the name.
