yes, if i had deep coffers, i would be owning a nice purty g5 with a 21" cinema display. sooooooooooooooo nice. however, i was less than impressed with the new "mini ipod." as far as i can tell, its the same size, and you get one fifth the storage for 50 bucks less. looks like im saving up for a real one.

being a loyal Mac fan I drove out for the MacWorld Exo. Yeah the new iPods were smaller but a lousy 4Gigs is not much. Though Steve likes to release stuff at MacWorld, this was one of those weak ones. New software and iPods BAH!

Superiority complex? Ok, i'll put it this way, plain and simple, so that all you little wanna be hax0rz can understand, and maybe appreciate the benefits of quality product and good design. How many times a week does your XP autoupdate tell you it "has updates ready to install"? Mine tells me at least once or twice a week, and its usually a "security update". You can argue the ins and outs of Mac vs PC, but it simply comes down to quality of product. Mac users love their products because they WORK RELIABLY without continuous update. We appreciate the extra effort Apple puts in, and scorn companies as large and rich as MS who cant seem to put out a decently secure OS. Sure, Macs cost more, BUT, it pays off in the long run. Example: Do audiophiles complain about the price of a new Krell monoblock? I think not.

It really is the difference between the average consumer and a connoisseur, not the systems themselves.

All that being said, each platform has its followers, and little can be said to dissuade the "enemy".
