Supose I got some splaining to do.

Way back when I was a dotcomunist I worked for a company called Liveworld which owned an online community called Talk City. One of my responsibilitys was to help the Online staff police the Chat service.

Anyhow I'm just hanging out in one of the main chat rooms yacking with the folks online. This dude logs in as OfficerBob and starts talking crap ... i'm a cop ..yadayada I'm going to arrest you for saying whatever.. and just being Ignorant in general. So what do I do ... Log in as OfficerGoat and start harasing the guy. Eventualy I ended up Killing and banning him from the server, but not before having a serious amount of fun with him.

What I didnt realize was one of my coworkes was takeing a look at all of the logins from our office IP ... I should have logged in Via the Backchannel network... but oh well. anyhow I hear this WTF!? who is OfficerGoat?

Next night at the corp softball game I come up to bat ... and they start chanting.... "OfficerGoat ... OffierGoat..." ever since then the name stuck ... so I use it

It's my name though I wanted just Mark but that had gone 3 weeks before I registered and that Mark has never posted the last M is also my name so only here and that Australian forum am I MarkM everywhere else just Mark. Plus I don't like the idea of hiding behind a screen name, though I do on IM programs but then the chances of you getting your name on those is so remote.

ever since i was little i have always been the poster child for ritalin. i swear ask any one i work with or that nows me personally here on AO there have been times where i cant even finish a sentance without losing my train of thought.
methylphenidate is the chemical name for ritalin.
i wanted something that was totally original and described me perfectly.

by the way i think it took me five minutes to write this short post. i was distracted by a peir of pliers sitting on the desk, my drum sticks, i had to pick up my emag, and i the tv is on in the other room.

On IRC I would use Thanotos or Than. It's from a book by Piers Anthony. Very cool read BTW. Then lots of people would login and use those nicks. So I added the 205 from a random keyboard hammering. I have since used it everywhere I go.

i was at work wone day(paintball sams) and this guy ken was writing the refs names on the board and instead of brandon he wrote big_chops. out of nowhere dunno y. otherwise i go by redwood on the forum i moderate.(www.hynitecrew.tk)or because of my ginormous legs. or mikey beacuse people say i look like mikey from the carton recess, or many other nicknames involving my last name.(sobocinski) i could go on for hours of all my nicknames. but i liked big_chops the most

o yea and meth is one crazy mofo. he likes to burn everything and is always jumping around slapping people 50 times bigger than him.

my friend was wearing a white shirt with a black horse or alligator on it, or something. so I decided to mess with him and I said, "Mike (my name too), you shirt is dirty, you need to bleach it." as I pointed at the image. He was rather confused. a few of my other friends thought it was funny. So I kept telling him he needed to bleach his shirts. after a while, my friends started calling me bleachit, which was/is in competition with the other name they call me, "2dads".

About 5 years ago or so I went over to my cousin's house and played Everquest. Some guy on there had some kickass silver armor on and he was shooting rays of light out of his eyes. So I went home and made my name on Diablo Classic .ultimator. Stuck ever since.

back in the day when I played with my old team, we met this girl. Long story short her boyfriend played for a team called warped kids and he was connected with the big guys at WGP. He told her he might be able to get us sponsored by them. But that our team name was too "non-professional" or some crap like that. I think they just wanted it their way. At the time we were "Play With Fire" (hence my aim name).

He talked it over with people he knew and the recommended we play under a new team name. "wicked wayz" We wanted to make them happy, so we did. The sponsorship never went through becuz we didnt play in a tourney that they wanted us too.

When I made this sn thats what my team name was. Now a couple years later, we dont even play as a team any more. So its over, but i kept the SN.
