    oh trina, trust me, ive tried to get her to play. i would love nothing more than for her to come out and play a round of ball with me. hopefully at AONE 5 i can get her to play. now, to get some other gals to come out and play that day.

    any tips you can give trina for getting her into getting on the field?

        Well, I would definately wait till she's ready. And make it fun for her.

        About 5 years ago, on Doobie's birthday, he said it would be the best gift if I came out and played ball w/him. So I went and had the time of my life!!

        I think as a girl I was really nervous the first time playing. So going to a field where they are safe, the atmosphere is fun, and it's not all tourney players ripping up on newbs, is very important. Make sure there's a good mix of everyone.

        It's good if you know people there because you can introduce her and she won't feel out of place. Most likely people will treat her really nice, knowing it's her first time. Encourage normal conversation with the other guys and include her. If it's a bunch of guys talking about their guns all day, it's a little intimidating for a girl the first time.

        If she talks to a few girls that play, that would help too.

        Don't worry...one thing she'll realize is that if she wants to spend time with you...she'll have to get out and play...hahaah! Quite frankly I hated sitting at home or going shopping (blah) while Doobie was playing paintball.

                I really hope Doobie and I will be able to make it!

                You should definately bring her though!! She'd have so much fun with everyone and an AO meet is perfect to get her started!
