I still can't believe you haven't even HEARD of him... he's a LEGEND, he left behind a Redskins LEGACY!!!!! He had something like one losing season out of 10 with the skins before... this is so great, in soooo many ways!!!

Also they announced he's going to be team president, and getting a bunch of other power, that will help lessen the Snyder sting.

It was a total shock to see they signed him, cause his name has not even ever been mentioned anywhere. I hope he does good for you guys, too bad the Falcons never thought of asking and Gibbs is a partial team owner (guess that's gone now too). You gotta wonder though if he'll have success right away or even at all, cause look what happened to Ditka when he went to New Orleans. Or even so, it may take a few seasons, like with Vermeil when he came out from the booth and took about 2 seasons to get the Rams into contenders.

Tiger - I think they DID ask him, but, hell, they're just not the Redskins, now are they?? And yeah, he had to give up the 5% team ownership or whatever it was. But he's still gonna continue as CEO of his NASCAR team!!
