    Raggedy Old Shoe Contest

Anyone else have a old raggedy pair of shoes they still wear because they are just too comfortable to throw out or replace?

I've had this pair of Rockports since junior year of high school, and I've worn them constantly since. They've lasted 8 years now, and sadly, they shall soon have to be retired before they spring a leak.

If you have a pair of raggedy shoes that still gets use, post em up here.

If its just a pair of old crappy shoes that sit in your closet and you never wear them, they don't count. I wear these to work every day, because they are hands down the most comfortable shoes on the planet.

I "lost" my last good pair. They may be responsible for the death of certain cleaning personel at the skydome though.

When I read the title for this, I immediately thought about a pair of Rockports that I had when I was a Jr. in Highschool. My wife made me get rid of them last year. Anyway, I read Thordic's post and....*sniff*....I miss my shoes. Although, I would have to say that those don't look like they are in that bad of condition.

I'll see what lies at the bottom of my closet. hehe

I need to find someone with a digital camera. I have a pair of shoes that until it snowed i still wore everywhere everyday. Now i just wear them arround town and such. They are to the point that the zip ties holding them together ripped out. They are missing pieces, but i dont care, they are awesome driving shoes.
Black/Red Tribal 2.0 BBT, Morlock board, 90* Angel Space frame, to many goodies to list. SOLD

I have a pair of raggedy vision streetware, oldschool. Theyre bad, and nothings gonna make me get rid of them. I will have a shoe store fix them before I get rid of them.

I've had these for 5 years. Eventually people made me get new shoes. I just cut the back off of my old shoes. They're so comfortable. I wear them all the time.

DJ, I got you beat in the Chuck department. I'll snap a pic of my favorite black ones as soon as I get home. In HS I was the Chuck Taylor king, I had every color I could find (over 30 pairs).

During the cross country season I put upwards of 700 miles on a pair of shoes. Needless to say, the rubber on the soles is worn completely off, and the area just bellow where the tongue attaches is ripped completely accross the top of the shoe. If I can just get ahold of a camera...
