I had been dying to know what Big Fish was about. During our huge wait at Times Square for the ball to drop on New Years, I had to stare at the movie's billboard for several hours (I hadn't heard about the movie before that). You couldn't tell a whole lot by looking at it and it was killing me.

There are movies not worth paying a ticket for. There are movies that are worth seeing once. And there are those that are worth seeing multiple times in the theater.

I'd classify it as the kind that's worth the ticket and popcorn... and a package of gummy bears that you pass around and gets returned to you empty... bastards.

I'm going to definitely get it on DVD as well, once it's out. It's just a nice, clever, sentimental, funny movie that was well done... typical Tim Burton. I cried at the end... Well, almost. Ok, I did. But it was dark so. That doesn't count.
