My winter hobby thats more expenesive then paintballing

Snowboarding! I dont really paintball in the winter, too cold and all my money is going to snowboarding.

2 trips to Vermont=$900
4 or 5 trips to Poconos=$400
Board setup and clothes=$600-700

Board is a Supernatural 156
Burton ION MD's and Burton stepins

I dont mind stepins, but at the end of the season when they have crazy deals I'm gettin regular boots and bindings

ha when i lived in colorado, it was wayyyyy cheaper.

I spent about 150-200 for a season pass that let me go to several high end resorts like vail, beaver creek, brekenridge, keystone, ect. as much as i wanted. I think i adveraged about 25-30 visits(mosttly to beaver creek) which i spent about 6-8 hours snowboarding nonstop for about 2 years before i moved. I'm pretty lucky

haha sucka i live in vermont as long as im on the honor role i get free lift tickets to killington ski resort :edit: can't use them on the weekends though

My winter sport is the most expensive of all--
Putting my feet up to the heater and watching tv. I go through thousands of dollars of food everyday!

I LOVE Vermont, I want to move there. I'm going to Okemo in Feb. and Killington in early March.


Picked up these goggles, I love em. Dragon DXS. They were 60.

Couple friends and I hit up Peak N Peak over New Years, had a blast. I make it out to the slopes a few times a year

ya..i love boarding. my old board just snapped though, so i can't get pics up. i bought a new one and i'll get pics up sooner or later. i've never been to vermont though :-/.

I used to only ski...until I tried snowboarding...it's AWESOME!! You are so smoked by the end of the day...I LOVE IT!!

I don't have any major mountains around here, cuz I'm in TN, we haven't even had a major snow yet but I'm near Gatlinburg (about 4 hrs). Just in case anyone wants to go skiing/snowboarding in that area, LMK!! When Doobie's back, he'll go too...but we have to get some lessons, cuz he hasn't been snowboarding yet!!

i used to ski every weekend.....until i got a job so that i could play paintball.......now i work every saterday and go to paintball practice every saterday night 7-10 and sundays i have to help around the house and do hw......kinda sux but i think im going skiing next weekend

I rather snowboard in the winter then paintball. You cant snowboard year round
