Whelp, I picked her up today. I sold my previous Ninja a few months ago and with the proceeds from the sale, along with a few sheckles I've saved, I managed to buy myself a 2004 Ninja ZX6R 636. It was a little cold today, but I managed to take for a spin on my favorite road.

Good to know that somone of Tom's status seeks "relief" from a sport he helped create. A sport now ruled by a single patent.Comment

I had a 2000 YZF426 thumper for a year, but I realized I wasn't dedicated to the dirt as much as I was to the street. I do rent YZ250s for my sand dune trips.Originally posted by Dubstar112

This is a street bike guys, not a dirt bike. The preload adjustment is kinda weak from the factory, but I won't get around to tuning the suspension until spring.
I had my mind set on an R6 for a while. I rode my buddy's for a week while he was on vaca, and I came to the conclusion that it just wasn't the bike for me. Just not comfortable enough to ride for more than an hour. The Kawi's additional power, better brakes and suspension won me over in the end.Shoot it like you stole it!
