Lebret piercing, should I?

Well, I was thinking that too, I am in the DEP(Delayed Entry Program) for the Marines and they advised me not to get any tattoos or peircings before i go to boot June 28th. But my guitarist was trying to talk me into it, because he did his lip. Thanks again.

the labret wont ever heal after the enitial 2 months if you do things right, keep that in mind. when they peirce it, they use a hallow thing and dont just poke a hole thru, they literally remove the skin in that area. as far as the visable peircing thang, it is not a prob. you can buy these lil plastic peices called retainers, clear plastic, and has an o-ring on the back to keep it in. ppl wont notice it unless they are looking for it, and it looks better than just taking out the peice you have in out and leaving it. only deal is that you cannot change the starter thang for 2 months, cause your spot wont heal right unless you got stainless steal in there. hope you find a good flavor listorine cause every time you eat, drink, smoke, or do anything at all with your mouth sides drink water you will have to was out your mouth(cool ment pwnz the green death). it takes a lil more dedication than going and plopin down 40bux and taking some minor pain. also, you are going to be asked did that hurt, like once or twice a day, and it can be annoying, but it is a good coversation starter with the women. also, one of my friends got his done and now his front bottem teeth are messed up cause the told him to use the wrong type of barbell or some thing, i dunno all the details on that but he said that it sux mega hard. food getting cought on it is annoying, and embarresing if you dont notice and go rolling around the store with a string of cheese hanging from your mug.

i got my lip peirced back in september, and love it. the first like week almost my lip was swollen and red and looking like poo, and it was annoying getting in and out to clean it te first 2 or so months, but it got easyer. it is not for everyone for sure.

as for your looks, i dunno, alot of it has to do with your personal attitude, and not so much looks imo. also, i would not get it if your going to basic or marines or what ever cause if you show up with any peircing my uncle was telling me they will you hell, like more so than anyone else cause it is one morething they have to yell at you about, plus you will be more stand outish(if thats a word lol).
