Damn weather man!

Every year, the weather man over predicts a winter storm. Every year. Now, I know you cant predict weather, but if your off 8 inches of snow,then there is something wrong.

We were supposed to get up 6-8 inches of snow.
We got......barley an inch.

Last year, we were supposed to have a massive downfall of snow, what did we get? an inch.

Later on that year, we were supposed to get 12-14 inches of snow.....we got 24 inches.

O man. So much for this new weather technology being all great.

My statistic that I always point out: In a month long study of internet weather forecasts (2 day forecasts) a few years back, weather.com was found to be the most accurate at 61%. Seems reasonable, until you remember that a penny could predict 50%. Think you can out-guess the weatherman 1 time out of 10? Maybe you can be a weatherman? With all the technology on their side, these guys can still only watch the radar and tell you what's probably coming your way in a hour. Just think if we could all afford to be 61% correct in our jobs.


Oh yeah, If my use of weather"man" makes you upset, I don't care.
