    Free K2 skis, help me pick one model

    Okay, last year, I won a K2 contest. I was with the sales rep on the phone and he told me to pick whatever I wanted. I can choose between either K2 skis or board or a Ride snowboard or either some K2/Ride snowboard bindings. If they don't have something I want in stock, I'll get something from the 2004-2005 collection.

    I already ride a 2003-2004 Nitro Shogun 163cm snowboard with great binding. I wanted a Ride Theory, but their all out of stock. I don't know what to choose, and I never tried the new collection yet.

    I have a pair of Elan Fusion S12 168 cm that I LOVE!!!! Great short radius skis. I might want a good freeride skis, but never have the chance to try this year collection. I remember I tried the K2 Mod X 3 years ago and I liked it. Anything similar with this year collection?

    Help me pick something.

          Ever try the ski boards?
          I've got the K2 Fatty Ski boards and love them, great for just fooling around on the slopes and in the trees. Although if your getting whatever for free you might as well grab something a little more pricey.

          Just a thought.
          Seems like you have all the other equipment.

              I think skiers are going to pick skis and riders a board. I ski so I say their most expensive 2005 pair.

              I am more of a Salomon guy personnally so I don't know much about K2.

                      race ski: mach GS race
                      rec ski: axis AK
                      twin tip/freeride ski: kahuna/public enemy/seth pistol

                      those would be the top choices. personall id get the mach gs race cause thats what i do, but other than that id get one of the freeride skis. check their site

                          Do yourself a favor, wait another month, get Pep Fujas' new ski the "Fugutive". It's easily the best ski K2 makes.

                          For the record, I'm a pro skier so I sorta know what I'm talking about

                              I've only had experience with salomon's too, i would also recommend just getting the most expensive pair in a size you like.
