Thats not as easy said as it is done... It took me a long time to learn to carve.

I went to college in Grand Forks, ND....it got -65 F AMBIENT temperature!!!! (that means without windchill)

I was in the aviation program, and we had a standard that declared a No-Fly at -39 ambient and -50 windchill. Try pre-flighting an aircraft at 6:00 am when its -20. brrrrrrrr.

Please, whatever you do don't listen to this advice.Trust me, learn to ride undercontrol and most importantly how to stop.Trust me, I've been an instructor for over 4 years so I know what i'm talking about and others will be gratefull that you know how to properly stop. A few weeks ago I got hit from behind while waiting in a lift line by a guy who didn't know how to stop and got a nice big chunk taken outta a brand new board.

Actually for your first day I would first find a small hill that you can walk up a ways and then ride down just to get used to balancing and stopping. And then move onto a chair lift once you feel comfortable. I gotta get back to school work now so if you need any more tips let us know.
