Which car should I get?

Since the truck I really really really wanted got sold the day I got all my cash together, I must pick something else. I have about $9500.

At least you got good taste, SC300 would be a nice choice.

Alot of stuff you can do to that car do if your into that kinda thing. Definitley start it off with a nice set of Rims and Tires, and of course a system.

Buh Engine wise is very big, ive seen a ridiculous 2JZ-GTE engine transplant into them, I have the dyno vid here its like crazy 700 HP or so in a SC300. But even without it the engine is good for modifying, suspension, body kits etc. The car is very tuner friendly.

If you were leaning towards a more gangsta type (spinner rims, thump thump in the trunk, etc.) Maybe look at the Acura Legend, in that price range.

Or maybe a nice 2000 VW GTI 1.8T, 0-60 in 6.3 seconds, german sports sedan quality, superb handling and also very mod friendly. Easy stuff too for big power.

A GTI 1.8T would be a nice car. That one arkfear posted is not a very good price...you can get a good condition 00 5 speed for around 12-13k. If you aren't looking to spend that much, check out a 96-98 GTI VR6 (6 cylinder). They are around 7-9k. That lexus is pretty nice BTW.

very dependable cars. pretty powerful(3.2L V6) . very fun to drive. I love mine. And you can find them for fairly cheap too.

start with a kids car and work your way up. A chevy sunfire should be about right

Just get a 89-98 (exterior body stle the same; engines and dash are the only differences) chevy truck. You won't spend all your dough and you can do abit of everything in it. Romantic tailgate nights at the lake, bed full of people/paintball junk, and they hold their value well. I'm more than satisfied with mine.

a 99 with like 60-80k(just a baby) will go for like 8.5
