!!!Need help with DPB!!!

hey i just put dpb in on my new computer, and im updated to the 2.1 version.

when i go to join a game, it says that my protocol is different than the one the server uses.


#1 whats this mean?
#2 how do i fix it?
#3 why did it happen?

Hmm, did you try multiple maps? sometimes when i go into a server i have a different version of the map that is being played.

Do you have steam on that computer? someone was saying that DPB is going all steam too.

DPB will be steam only in 2.2:)

nope i dont have steam, i've got the HL flatinum pack, so i've got all the HL games

just download the smallest pack of steam, update half-life overnight, and install dpb.

hopefully you wont lag on 56k
