That was one of thw worst-officiated games I have ever seen. The Pats had a few good plays, and the Colts didn't help their own cause much, but I pin that outcome on the zebras. Four of us watching at my house, and we figure the Colts were cheated of at least two (possibly three) 1st downs by blown calls, not to mention the vicious manhandling of receivers by the NE secondary.
Anyone else notice that they never showed a single replay of the false-start/offsides calls against Indy? Very few penalty-replays at all, compared to most games.

Yeah!
The refs gave the game away. It had nothing to do with the Pats D confusing Manning and creating 4 picks. Nothing to do with the brutal pounding the Pats put on Indy's wide outs. Nothing to do with the Colts punt team being out of practice. Nothing to do with the total ineptitude of the Colts defense.
You always here talk of what could have or should have been after a game, but it surprises me in this case because the Colts were so blatantly owned. There is always an "if" or two in an NFL game. For instance: If Christian Fauria (sp?) grabs two passes, the game is a blowout.
Any bad calls, or missed calls, against the Colts can be called payback for the Tampa game earlier this year.
Speculation that Indy should have won is just silly in this case. The Patriots are on the second longest winning streak in NFL history. They are the best team in Football. Barring some kind of any given Sunday fluke, two weeks from to day they will be Super Bowl Champions.

My original prediction for the Conference Playoff Games:
AFC Championship: Colts 28 vs Patriots 31
This will be a battle of quarterbacks versus defensive backs.
Both Indianapolis and New England posess calm, cool, collected quarterbacks: Manning leads the #1 offense in the NFL, while New England management rolled the dice, traded Bledsoe, and decided Brady was the man to go with.
Manning has poise in the pocket, setting blocking assignments, calling audibles, and managing the most explosive offense in the NFL.
Brady has shown that he is not only a perfect pocket passer, he can pick up first downs with his feet when need be, and manages the no-huddle offense like Manning
If NE can shut down the running game (like the past 13 games in a row), it will rest on Manning's shoulders, and the NE cornerbacks (Ty Law & Tyrone Poole) who each have 8 interceptions, with Law going to his 4th Pro Bowl in a row, plus pressure by Willie McGinest and Richard Seymour, pass rushing specialists, both also going to the Pro Bowl.
NFC Championship
Philadelphia Eagles 42 versus Carolina Panthers 35
This will be an upstart Carolina team, with star running back Stephen Davis hurt, against a "mobile quarterback" with a strong arm in Philly's Donovan McNabb. Both teams share similarities, such as mediocre receivering corps, above average defense, and a subpar selection of running backsBPS - Baller's Pro Shop - [email protected]- "Hellspawn" WDP Angel LED 99

Actual Conference Playoff Game Results
Colts 14 at Patriots 24
Of course as everyone says, if we had actually done
TD's instead of field goals, it would have been no
contest (something ridiculous like Patriots 44 Colts
14). Granted, there was a whole amount of luck and
home field advantage...
Panthers 14 at Eagles 3
R. Manning with 3 INTs? McNabb injured with separated
rib cartilage by the 2nd Quarter? Ouch. I guess this
is where your depth is tested and their 2nd string QB couldn't step up, got picked off in the red zoneBPS - Baller's Pro Shop - [email protected]- "Hellspawn" WDP Angel LED 99
