First off potato I never called Sarah a raver. I meant that the hairstyle reminded me of the way the raver girls have their hair, the ones I used to like. And since when is being a raver a bad thing? I used to be one and if you believe its an insult then suck it up...it isnt. I also feel that you dont need to correct me thank you, if Sarah feels offended then she should tell me and I would explain the situation. Too many sensitive individuals worrying about stereotypes.

And about the raver being an insult thing, around here the scene is dead. Which is a real shame seeing as how it all started here. The ravers around here are all interested in one thing, and you can bet that isn't the music. If you could pry them away from their glowsticks for long enough to ask them the difference between Trance and Drum n Bass they'll just mutter something about a backrub.

Sorry Potato, I thought you were actually serious. Yeah you are right, the scene is dead and Vicks is taking a huge profit loss because of it. Its a shame because the scene was awesome when I was going out a few years ago. Clubs are always where its at and been but they are getting a lot of heat lately as well. Sooner or later Americas club scene will diminish as well. I actually may be coming out there to the Detroit music festival is it? My friend is urging me to go see the creators( kevin saunderson, derrick may) Wish mills would be there though. Maybe even hawtin, even though hes from ontario.

Hawtin was there the first year, wasn't all that great. Saunderson, Atkins, and May (Oh My!) on the other hand, who can turn that down? Anyway, I think that the DEMF for next year *isn't* going to be all that good. After all Carl Craig was fired shortly after putting together the 2001 event. However there is talk about Carl Craig throwing a *different* festival at another location on the same weekend! I've been to the first two DEMFs and let me tell you, they're worth the trip from New Jersey. Heck, I met some people from Europe (both years) and they said it was the best weekend they'd ever had.
