Haha. This is why I keep getting carded for curfew (18) and why everybody has to triple check my ID for alcohol... I could pass for 16... 21 is tough. Heck, I'm almost 22 now...

I believe this is also why I've had such a hard time getting a job in IT... I look too young to know what I know, but I could school many an IT department... particularly the ones I'm acquainted with. When they can't get any of their guys to figure things out, they bring it to me... But the turds won't put me on payroll... human resources peoples had a fit when they saw me, despite the recommendations and people walking me into the office telling them to hire me. Oh well. Guess that 55k+ salary will have to wait until I'm done with school.

Eh, screw IT. I'll get a DB programming job and put my feet on my desk. :)

Information Technology... aka MIS (Management Information Systems)

Basically you're supposed to take care of in-house computers/networks. But in the real world they got a whole bunch of monkeys who talk about computers too much and fool employers into thinking they know something. When they have a problem, they send computers off for warranty instead of fixing it. (Or take it to me at $65/hour as the case may be... :) ) When they can't solve their network stuff, they pay for 'specialists' to take care of it.

Typical IT/MIS monkey just knows how to install stuff and how to BS about computers. It's my personal philosophy that IT/MIS people should need no outside help except in rare situations... but that's not how it works in the real world (with exception of course).

I was considering starting an IT/MIS training/cert. facility... that pumps out useful techs and not drones with a fancy piece of paper with nice lettering and a golden seal. Maybe someday.

Sorry that was a bad joke. Actually sounds like a cool job, my father-in-law does networking for DOD contracters at Hanscom AFB.

I can't wait to start classes that pertain to my degree.

lol, I love the pics Miscue! I actually get told I look older than I am, most people think I'm like 18 or 19, in reality I just turned 16 in December :). I'll have some better pics this week. Me and Ni-cD just had a day on the town(lol, walked around the mall and then went to his house ) and took a bunch of fun pics ! I will also have pics of the upgraded MB STINGER!

Oh yeah, I'm an old geezer :) lol. TacoBell hired me at 15 thinking I was over 18 hehe, they arnt allowed to hire till your 16. I was not aware of this, and so I was laid off till I was 16 ! It was funny .
