Ok probably not out in the US as yet but go search for Boogie Pimps : Somebody To Love...it might not be to all american tastes but search for the video....this is the killer part. Jungle Burger references all the way through (if you don't know what Jungle Burger is ask your Dad ) I can't quite see the video getting played in the bible belt but then the clothes are left on. I like the song too and for the life of me I really can't remember where the damned sample is from...I think it is Jefferson Airplane : White Rabbit but could be mistaken.

A push up, as unless 42 kids have read this I can't believe that no one is going ..Who? As all the normal music threads go, but then to mention a band from as long ago as Jefferson Airplane I suppose that fits...oh looked them up and as they were using the same song in a repeated documentry tonight, it IS jefferson Airplane but the song is a total lift not a sample of Somebody to Love.

Oh and currently it is sitting at number 5 in the UK charts

I found the song, but not the video. Not bad, but there's not much to it, is there? Very heavily sampled from Jefferson Airplane.

Well the "song" has been done by euro's not english although it is on an English label so thats why it appears to be a stripped down mix...bit of a french thing actually...bloody filter disco...at least there aren't any of those 2 minute breaks in the single mix. You can get the video I have found out via winmx but the video will only play if you download the plugin codecs...but the video is the part that will seriously make you smile. I didn't downlaod it I bought the single and the video is on the cd...damned annoying that you can play the video but can't play the other tracks normally...why have a video track which is to be played on a PC but not be able to play the regular tracks Ah just sussed how to do it...have to stop the video and select play dvd/vcd/cd

Well I do have a few Yes tracks tucked away on vinyl...and I know you know what that is
But if they can jazz up Jefferson Airplane then how long will it be before Yes gets the same treatment?

Damn, thats what i thought too. I got all excited for nothing.

O, and the band is still arround, at least for the most part they are. Saw them live 4 years ago. Well, what was left of the band.

Gotta love an album that has 3 songs and 1 that takes up an entire side.
