dragonball help

ahhh, im such a dork. ill sort them CHRONOLOGICALLY

dragonball= goku as a kid, blah blah, series that came before dragonball Z

dragonball Z= after dragonball, goku as an adult

dragonball GT= this is a bit tricky. it come after dragonball Z. but remember that little blue dude in dragonball with that wierd *** hat? pilaf could be his name. but after dragonball Z when everything is peaceful, he sneaks into the big huge outpost or whatever that dendei is at, and steals the BLACK STAR dragonballs. those balls only grant one wish, but once used they are not scattered around the world, but around the universe, and if they arent recovered within a year or something like that, they will be destroyed. now pilaf (i tihnk thats his name, its the little blue guy anyway) steals those balls, and the big buff adult goku catches him. inadvertently, he says to goku: "i wish you were a little kid again so i could kick your ***" or something to that nature. hence goku being a kid again, and that series ensues.

close enough. it's all explained in the first episode. so if you missed that you're screwed. look it up online. i'm sure there's about a bajillion explanations of the series around the internet.

i like dbz, now why does tian(sp) have that third eye, is it real or a tattoo?
what does the M stand for on peoples heads(vegeta vs buu) i know its some kinda kult thing right?
sayians have tails and on a full moon will turn into a sayin beast correct? but if the get rid of the tail then they may become super sayain?
why did picolo join esf?
is freiza dead?
why does goku have a halo over his head in dbz?

as you can see ive been outa the loop for a while(im enjoying the buu saga right now though(on cartoon network)
and havent really been caught up on this stuff as we just got cartoon network in my area

beats me. it's real though.

buu's name is majiin buu so i'd assume it has something to do with that. basically anybody under babidi's control has that on their forehead.

normal saiyans lose their strength when they have their tail pulled off. they also go stupid if you squeeze it real hard. something about our buddies in DB is different though allowing them to maintain their strength although they lose the ability to transform in moonlight. i don't know if there's any link between the ability to do without the tail and the ability to become a super saiyan.

why did picolo join esf?
he starts to turn good while training gohan.

is freiza dead?
yes trunks kills him at the beginning of the cell saga.

why does goku have a halo over his head in dbz?
he dies fighting cell.

Tien's third eye is the "mind's eye". I haven't been into db for awhile so I forget what the deal with it is, but I think it enhances his senses or something like that. I think there is an episode of db or dbz where there is a villan who can turn invisible and tien can still see him with his mind's eye. Also a lot of people believe that the GT stands for Grand Tour but i am almost possitive that it doesn't stand for anything. With the tail a saiyan turns into an oozaru (the huge monkey) during a full moon. I don't know if they need to lose the tail to turn into a super saiyan, but i think that the do need it to turn into a super saiyan 4. There is also something that will turn them into a golden oozaru and then if they control that they can transform into a super saiyan 3, but i forget the details of that.

and even though goku dies fighting cell why does he retain the halo? who brought him back? and the m was on vegeta's head when he was fighting buu, he mentioned something about getting every advantage and chance to power up, but if its a mind control thing, why did babidi let vegeta figth buu?(resulting in him turning to dust)

oh and howd krillin get hair?
anyone played budokai2 yet? how is it?

GT probably is grand tour since they have to travel all around the galaxy. goku gets brought back by one of supreme kai's ancestors. you'll meet him soon.

when babidi takes you over you become much more powerful. you missed the tournament where two regular humans that he'd taken over entered i take it. he didn't feel pain and survived things that should have killed him. he was actually able to beat Videl. Videl is as strong as Hercule was plus she'd undergone a little training with Gohan so she had some idea how to control her energy. no normal human should've been able to beat her. Vegeta saw this. later he sees how powerful Goku is and that he is once again more powerful than Vegeta. so Vegeta decides that he'll let Babidi take him over and then he'll be as powerful as Goku. too bad you missed the fight between Goku and Vegeta. you get a lot of insight into Vegeta's mind there. Vegeta being able to fight Buu was really cool. after Gohan is supposedly killed by Buu Vegeta finally stops fighting with Goku. he decides it's his turn to save the planet and gives Goku the good old judo chop to the neck while he's not looking. then he goes to face Buu. Babidi stops him for a second but then Vegeta gives one of the greatest lines ever. "You may have control of my body. You may control my mind. But there's one thing a Saiyan always keeps, his PRIIIIIIIIDE!!!" big yell, huge tower of energy, and babidi loses control but Vegeta gets to keep the strength.

krillin has hair because he grew it back. duh.

he used to shave it because he trained at shaolin. although there is absolutely no kung fu in DB or DBZ. so he shaved his head. and that's also why he had the dots. although he shouldn't have had the dots since that's only for full monks. krillin got the crap beaten out of him during basic training and left. so all this time krillin's been shaving his head. roshi however is naturally bald. and apparently in the ten years or so since cell the earth hasn't been in any danger. krillin stopped training and stopped shaving his head.

Someone told me that Toriyama never intended to manke DBZ, so I was curious, did he have the idea for DBZ in his mind when he did DB? Cause all of the stuff bout Goku is really from an old Chinese legend (dont know why Im saying that though, Im sure you all knew that). If anyone knows Id appreciate it, thanks!

sorta. not really though. goku does kinda resemble the monkey king with his staff and the cloud and all but other than that there's really not much that's similar.
