    CPhillip This is for You . . . . . (56k'ers Beware)

OK, I didn't want to clutter up the other thread too much, so here are the pics I promised Phil.

First off, the frame and the hardware they ship with (except the allen wrenches).

HOLY COWZ! That is pretty dam sweet! VERY VERY nice work there Ryan. Looks very comfy and I am so looking forward to feeling that thing. Thanks so much for the special posting and pictures of it. That was really nice of you.

Hmmmmm... I wonder if someone could make me a special "AO Jewel or something to go in that window on that grip? Might be that Heather can do something for me to include there showing this as an AO Edition RTP? Would that be nice or what!!!

Thanks again Ryan. I am going to show this bad boy off and get my "choppers" workin on this!

Indeed the dovetail is nice. If mine wasn't at anno I'd have it cut out.. but alas it'll look weird with it re-carved after anno.

                        These frames look awesome...

I'm assuming all pics are of a silver one? I can't tell if it's silver or just a very nicely finished raw frame.

They are all of Phil's Silver Ano'ed frame, which came out of the tank this afternoon.

Before anyone asks, yes we can ano here. But, the cheese begins to bind when it comes to getting consistent colors. Sometimes we get perfect colors, sometimes we get funky spots, sometimes we just get weak colors, and there seems to be no rhyme or reason for any of it. Clear we can do. Black we can do sometimes. Any other color is pretty much a crapshoot.

I swear anodizing has got to be one of the most difficult-to-quantify operations in existence. So many small things affect the process in big ways, that we have a very hard time figuring out exactly what is causing our troubles.

Couple that with the fact that I don't have much time to spare, and you can see why I send most of our ano work out.

                          Anyhoo, glad you like it.

Is that why the last batch of frames is taking so long?
