i dont touch computer games anymore, and the only one i ever did was starcraft, and most people in competitive games had maphacks, so i was at a disadvantage if I didnt.

Good luck finding one for halflife. The only working one I know of was never publicly released and now that the game is however many years old you will have have to find a multi TB archive site to get it.

I would consider lightening up if i had not spent a good portion of morning on monday trying to find a CS server that didnt have someone blately using hacks.

I dunno whats more annoying the hackers or the fact that EVERYONE is so paranoid about hackers that they end up banning/kicking you if you are really good. Happens to me about two or three times a month.

Anyone else get banned for being good?

Yep, or if you use headphones or have surround sound and people think you wallhack.
