Ever wonder how big AO really is?

Apparently, we're the 244th largest web board out there. Not too shabby.

PBNation comes in at 41st, and a Hebrew-language board dedicated to an Argentinian soap opera comes in 18th.

Interesting... out of the top 105 I worked on or built from the ground up 3 .. and in the rest none. ... Its interesting to see th comercial guys like sho.com, hbo.com etc don't make the list. Then again those guys are great at spending piles of money and then not following trhough to make it actualy work. (Ummm let people know its there idiots lol)

Another interesting thing is that LS1.com is ranked below mags... .however they get WAY more activity. They also prune their boards pretty freaquently. I'd like to see a similar chart made by someone actualy doing traffic tracking of some sort... wonder how much it would change.

Ugh, 4 out of the top 5 largest make me sick:
                1) Role playing games discussion boards
                3) General video gaming message boards
                4) Anime roleplaying community
                5) Star Wars fans message boards
Calling all Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, and other east coast AOers...

See noone appreciates my hard PWing work. Without it we would could very well be back in the 230's.

Hmm, the camaro forum I like is only 165 and the mustang one is 111. We have some work to do :)

Actually it has more to do with other boards not being even on there to rank. As they add boards you postition can fall. For instance I just looked and the Ford Diesel site I go to is bigger than most of those in the top 50 and its not even in the data base. It is now! So those rankings are based on who is in the data base and how you stack up against them. NOT on how big you are on the internet at all.

AGD, where we are so good we can do it with only ONE tube!
